TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL-LIVELIHOOD (TECH-VOC-LIV) TRACK
Ensuring workplace-ready individuals, the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track provides our SHS students key subject areas that strictly follow the guidelines of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to help them acquire job-ready skills. This track not only assures key technical knowledge and competencies but also guarantees employment, backed by TESDA certifications, namely the Certificate of Competency (COC) and the National Certification (NC). Our program offers the following TECH-VOC strands: Home Economics and Information & Communications Technology (ICT).
Bread and Pastry Production
- This specialization is designed for those who are into baking or making breads and pastries. Future careers may be that of a pastry chef, baker, or bakeshop owner.
Food and Beverage Services
- This specialization is intended to provide skills and knowledge for food and beverage services. Career opportunities may include that of a banquet manager, food and beverage manager, bar manager, captain waiter, bartender, bar attendant, food attendant, etc.
- This program is designed to provide fundamental knowledge in culinary arts. Future careers may be that of a cook, chef, restaurateur, etc.
- This specialization is for those who are interested in the tourism industry or those who may engage in any work related to tourism.
INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (ICT)
Considered to be one of the driving forces behind economic growth, the Information and Communications Technology strand holds the principal applications of communication and information technology, in reshaping many societal aspects, in high regard. It aims to equip our SHS students with the necessary knowledge and skills in utilizing tools that allow individuals to interact in the digital world. This strand also helps them acquire extensive understanding and experience in the creative industry which comprises careers in animation, technical drafting, or java programming. Our students can also earn a National Certificate on each subject that can help boost their potential for employment in the future, provided that they pass the competency-based assessments from TESDA.
