It's Game Time! DAS Cup Season 1: One Day League

IT’S GAME TIME!!!

DAS CUP SEASON 1: ONE DAY LEAGUE

        A remarkable and intense game occured last August 25 at the OLOPSC Gymnasium. This year, the OLOPSC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (OAA)  opened the 1st Season of the DAS CUP League which is dedicated to one of the school founders, the late Mr. Dionisio Salvador Sr..

       Present in the event were the Executive Officers headed by the OLOPSC President Dr. Armida Salvador-Samaniego,  the Salvador family and their representing teams from Batches 2013, 2015, 2019, 2021 and 2023. Mr. Edward Exequiel (Former OAA President)  and Mr. Vincent Pasquin (Former OAA Auditor) were also present there to give their support. The presence of the OLOPSC Coaches, Mr. Monroe Cueson (current) and Mr. Cirs Bautista (former) and current Pilipinas Super League President, added to the day's significance. The event was further elevated by the participation of  the man of the hour, Mr. Edward Joseph “E.J.” Feihl, a former National and PBA player, who led the ceremonial toss. The atmosphere was charged with the vibrant energy of both alumni and athletic spirits.

         Everyone got hooked. Each pass, score and three point shot of the players were monitored by the viewers.Everything even got more exciting as the basketball tournament was nearing its end. With a score of 63-59 points, Batch 2013 was declared as the  CHAMPION of the DAS CUP with their Most Valuable Player, Louis Samaniego. Congratulations to all the teams!!!
